THE 11th ASIA-PACIFIC CONFERENCE ON ENGINEERING PLASTICITY AND ITS APPLICATIONS (AEPA2012)

    We are pleased to announce that the Eleventh Asia-Pacific Conference on Engineering Plasticity and Its Applications, AEPA2012, will be held in Singapore, in December 2012, following the previous successful symposia in Hong Kong (1992), Beijing (1994), Hiroshima (1996), Seoul (1998), Hong Kong (2000), Sydney (2002), Shanghai (2004), Nagoya (2006), Daejeon (2008) and Wuhan (2010).

      The primary objective of the Conference is to bring together an international group of scientists, researchers and engineers from various fields ranging from academic to industrial institutions and to provide a free forum for exchanging original ideas, discussing new developments and disseminating the latest research findings in the field of engineering plasticity.

      We welcome contributions on novel topics dealing with plasticity in various disciplines such as solid mechanics, materials processing, structural analysis, impact dynamics, geo-mechanics and biomechanics. Advances in plasticity on the nano, micro and macro scales and their industrial applications, including those related to sustainable processing and re-manufacturing, will be of special interest at the Symposium.
